With 62 KFC restaurants, we are the largest franchisee of this restaurant chain in the Netherlands. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role for our 2,300 employees. Will you, together with your HR colleagues, bring the slogan People at the Heart to life?

The Role

You thrive in a broad HR advisory role with plenty of room for your own input. You enjoy working in a close-knit team with the same passion, achieving results together and building on the HR services of Collins Foods. Your scope will cover around thirty KFC restaurants, and you will closely collaborate with a Market Coach and four Area Coaches, each responsible for the operations of several restaurants.

This HR Advisor role requires a high degree of independence, with a focus on implementing HR policies and procedures. You will contribute actively to increasing HR’s visibility and ensuring that trainings, instructions, and internal communication incorporate the HR perspective. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in strategic workforce planning, conducting employee discussions, managing cultural differences, and handling absenteeism.

Besides your independent role overseeing an area of approximately 30 restaurants, you will be part of a friendly and dynamic HR team within an ever-evolving organization. Alongside the Chief People Officer Europe, HR Manager Netherlands, HR Assistant, another HR Advisor, Recruiter, and Payroll Specialist, you will form the HR team at Collins Foods. Together, you will provide HR support to all colleagues, both in the restaurants across the country and at the head office in Amsterdam.

Your Responsibilities

In this varied and dynamic HR role, you will be responsible for a wide range of HR tasks, including:

• Advising the Market Coach and Area Coaches on operational and tactical HR matters within KFC restaurants nationwide.

• Acting as an advisor and sparring partner for managers at the head office, ensuring close collaboration with the Operations department.

• Supporting and guiding managers to help them get the best out of their teams, focusing on themes such as recruitment, retention, strategic workforce planning, performance management, employee development, legal matters, and absenteeism.

• Actively participating in various HR projects with the HR Manager and contributing to the growth and professionalization of HR policies.

Your Profile

• A completed HBO degree in a relevant field (HRM, Business Administration, or similar).

• Several years of experience as an HR Advisor in a comparable organization (central support center with multiple locations).

• Strong knowledge of Dutch labor law; experience with the hospitality CLA is a plus.

• Analytical, results-driven, and eager to think ahead and contribute to challenges such as strategic workforce planning within KFC restaurants.

• Strong communication skills at all levels, crucial in a diverse organization with 96 different nationalities.

• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

• A valid driver’s license.
