We are looking for an Energy & Sustainability Manager Europe for the European Support Office of Collins Foods Europe in Amsterdam. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our sustainability ambitions in the Netherlands and Germany and make a direct contribution to our 2030 goals.

What will you do?

No day is the same. In this role, you effortlessly switch between strategy, project management, and stakeholder management. You play a key role in shaping and implementing the sustainability strategy for Europe and ensure that sustainability ambitions are translated into concrete results.

You work on objectives in the areas of COâ‚‚ reduction, waste reduction, and circularity, and oversee various sustainability and energy projects within our restaurants. Additionally, you collect, analyze, and report on ESG and sustainability data, providing the organization with insights into the progress and impact of initiatives.

You are also responsible for energy issues and maintain contacts with external suppliers and partners. With your expertise, you advise management and other stakeholders on relevant developments, risks, and opportunities in the field of sustainability.

Furthermore, you promote sustainable innovations within the organization, for example in the areas of packaging, sourcing, and operational processes. Finally, you contribute to knowledge sharing by providing reports, presentations, and internal communication on sustainability.

What do you bring?

You are analytically strong, take ownership, and can lead others through change. You thrive on complex issues and feel at home in an international organization where many different interests converge.

In addition, you bring:

  • A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Energy Management, or similar.

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in sustainability, ESG, energy management, or a similar role

  • Experience with sustainability projects, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision-making

  • Knowledge of ESG reporting, sustainability themes, and preferably energy management

  • Excellent command of Dutch and English. German is a plus

  • The ability to translate complex information into clear advice and concrete actions
